This engineered kit is a fully functional cold air system that routes air through the factory air box that has been retrofitted with a high-flow cone air filter (included).
The CDC-styled scoop not only incorporates retro styling, but also includes modern design cues, a perfect compliment to the Challenger's modern retro styling.
Construction materials are far superior to anything else on the market:
The engine cover is molded PC-ABS which maintains a clean and factory under-hood appearance. There is even a place for you to install your own "HEMI" lettering (not included).
The scoop, which includes injection molded vent inserts, is stamped steel and is quickly removed for oil changes via quarter-turn fasteners.
The system is standard with a high flow cone filter, all mounting hardware, instructions, and template to simplify installation.
The overall result is added appeal and performance while maintaining a factory look.
Please note: the CDC Shaker can be ordered with a raw hood scoop (requires paint), or it can be ordered with the optional $50.00 textured black powder coated scoop.
