 Another way to add up to an additional 10 horsepower to your 1998-2002 LS1 Camaro or Firebird is SLP's new Stainless Steel Y-pipe. Manufactured from mandrel-bent 2.5" stainless steel tubing, it is designed as a direct replacement for the factory pipe. The Y-Pipe attaches directly (bolt-on) to your engine's factory catalytic converters and exhaust. Compared to the factory part, SLP's Y-pipe relies on smoother bends and larger diameter tubing to provide the gains it does.
Application Note: For 2000-02 models only. Will fit 1998-99 models. Requires cutting and welding. Will not fit convertible.
